If you have not checked it out, you really should.  This addon titled "Skyshards" just add skyshard symbols to your map for every zone and when you discover it... it removes the icon so it makes it easy to find the ones you have missed!

 

The author is currently working on a Lorebooks version to help us level up that mage guild which will be simply amazing.
