re: Your top 5 addons and briefly why... GO!
by Javagawd on Sat May 17, 2014 8:09 am
I find myself wanting to go addon junkie style so I decided to limit myself to 10-15. So far my favorites are:
ZrMM - Minimap, Im just too spoiled to them and dislike bringing up the world map all the time
HarvestMap - I dont DL data fillers, I just track what I find, I like to look around.
LoreBooks - I dont like to look around THAT much.
SkyShards - see above
AIResearchGrid (with ResearchAssistant) for when I finally figure out what the heckles I will be advancing besides cooking :)
I've a bunch more but those are probably my top 5(6)
currently I'm also sporting
Alchemist
CraftCompare
SousChef
TreasureMaps
SoftcapInfo (just picked this one up)

5 was a good number to get the cream of the crop, to see if I was missing something Earthshaking.

My "Must Have's" (couldn't limit it to 5)...
- Craft Compare (so I know I'm not deconstructing something I can use!)
- Craft Research Timer
- GuildorFriend (so I know if a guildie is around)
- Inventory Item Borders
- LootDrop
- LoreBooks/Skyshards/Treasure Maps (I consider them together as they are by the same author)
- Mount Feed Timer
- MultiQuest Tracker
- Research Assistant
- Show Motifs
- XAutoRepair
- ZAM Stats (for time, % to level, and number of inventory slots)

Thanks, a few I havent heard of that looks interesting, looking them up now.
Oh and I've dumped Curse because it seems that in the past and evidently the present, they don't seem to be to supportive of the authors out there, I found Minion on ESOUI and it does the addon updating thing pretty good, I may just use ESOUI exclusively now unless there is a BRILLIANT addon find that just blows everything away thats NOT offered there :)

Top 5:
Foundry Tactical Combat- Reworks the interface to be a bit cleaner and provide you with a rough estimation on ability effects and durations
Ts Combat Stats- A simple DPS and HPS tracker to test different build efficiencies with
SoftCapInfo- A simple add-on that lists your current soft caps in your character sheet next to the actual stats helping you to reach as many caps as possible
Wykkyd's Outfitter- Allows you to easily swap in different armor sets and skill bar sets depending on situation (Tank or DPS, Daedric mobs or standard, AoE or Single Target, etc)
Research Buddy- Identifies which items you have which have traits which need researched. A must for anyone trying to "collect them all"
