one question, where it says a set requires 2 traits, does it matter which 2 traits?

Which traits they require is the information I am looking for as well because it would really narrow down some focus on what priorities you take on research.

They dont require a specific trait just that you have that number of traits researched per item you want to craft in those crafting stations.

So any random traits work....?! Honestly I felt the gear required particular traits being researched and their combination would make up the set bonus.

Yes, any random traits work. I made one set that required 2 traits and was able to make a bp, leggings, and gloves because I had 2 traits researched on each of them, but they were all different traits...
