TEW Cyrodiil Skyshard Run - April 26, 8pm

This is the route I plan.  Hopefully this time we'll not have server issues, so like before we'll start in the AD zone and work through those skyshards first.  Depending on time, if we can finish those quickly, we'll hit the EP skyshards, then DC.

 

My goal is to go until around 11pm for a 3 hour run...getting as many as we can before moving onwards.  We'll stop around 11pm.  We'll probably be doing these weekly for a while until everybody gets them...

 

This is from Duffy.net if you want to look at it yourself.  The basic order will be:

1, 10 2, 8, 14, 9, 13, 3, 12, 7, 15, 6, 11, 5, 4

 

That will take us up our side of the coast and back down, giving us a close opportune way to hit the EP skyshards.  Again, time willing, we'll work on those:

in the following order:

13, 3, 10, 5, 12, 15, 4, 6, 14, 7, 2, 11, 8, 1, 9

 

Once we complete those, we'll move west into DC territory:

In the following order:

13, 9, 14, 4, 10, 11, 3, 15, 6, 7, 2, 12, 1, 3, 5

 

 

I seriously doubt we'll be able to get ALL Skyshards in 3 hours...but we'll make a good attempt, particularly considering some are in dungeons.  But we'll see how far we go and hopefully get at least our faction's done tonight!

So based upon our exciting experiences the last two runs, we're going to do this run a bit differently:

We will only be visiting OUTSIDE Skyshards!

Since most of our issues have been due to people zoning in and out of instances, we'll hold off hitting the underground skyshards during this run.  That will allow us to hit not only AD skyshards, but some of the other faction skyshards as well.

In addition, we will be forming the group starting at 7:30 pm.  The last two runs have started 30 minutes late due to people no zoning in at the proper time.  I am no longer waiting...at 8:00pm EST we will start the run, regardless of whether people are present or not.  I am not going to stand around waiting for people to prepare for this run, so either zone into Cyrodiil early or be left behind, plain and simple.  If I have to make the run by myself initially, so be it...

Assuming I am a bit late (kiddo goes down at 7:30...but depending how willing he is, might be a distraction right up to 8), I might have to try to catch up. 

 

If we end up doing other factions' shards, do you think it would take too long to switch to an alt since Ero already had those?

I would log out the alt in Cyrodiil just so you avoid the long load screen moving between zones...but as long as she can catch up, no biggie...

I wanted to thank everybody who came to this past weekend's skyshard run!  We had a blast, ranging from grabbing skyshards, to defending keeps, to getting our asses handed to us by a VR10 vampire...and finally returning the same to them!

Other than the two skyshards behind enemy gates we could not access, we got all the above-ground skyshards in Cyrodiil, including the mountain giant one!

We'll do another run hopefully soon (have to check my calendar, hehehe)...
